A Kitchen in the Office
It has been about 60 years since a large number of women in the US joined the workforce, and about 2 since a large number of women all over the world left the workforce. The coronavirus pandemic has disproportionally affected female employees, mostly due to the heightened disparity in unpaid work. From discrimination to maternity leave, there are several factors which influence women who want to enter the labour force (or continue to be a part of it.) What are the changes to come in a post pandemic workplace? Does the future make space for a kitchen in the office? Better yet, does the kitchen make space for men?
